Next Generation (NextGen) Business Leadership Program

SG50 Amcham

AmCham Singapore’s Next Generation Business Leadership (NextGen) program is a year-long special series for AmCham members’ future leaders. The NextGen program combines conversational opportunities with senior executives with seminars targeting key areas for successful career development, and peer-to-peer connections to expand participants’ professional networks.

The program includes monthly sessions led by c-suite and senior executives that volunteer their time to share their insights, advice, and leadership journey to the selected high-potential millennials (NextGenners) exposing them to various industries and verticals.

NextGen 2018 kicked-off in February with the biggest cohort since the program was launched with 82 participants. The first session was a DISC analysis, followed by an evening reception at the Ambassador’s residence hosted by U.S. Embassy Charge d’ Affaires Stephanie Syptak-Ramnath on February 21.

What Participants Say About NextGen:

2017 Next Gen Participant, Calvinn Tan, Marketing Manager, South East Asia, Armstrong World Industries shares his testimonial:

“AmCham NextGen’17 was a really great experience for me, and far beyond my expectations. The diversity of participants representing a wide range of industries, cultures and disciplines – This led to a lot of sharing of knowledge and perspectives, which I found really enriching. It has a well-balanced core content; from networking to reflective conversations and structured coaching sessions. It was a very exciting learning experience with AmCham”
