Synopsis


Successfully doing business in China, either as an exporter or a company with boots on the ground, greatly depends on one’s ability to effectively navigate the unique digital landscape. From the latest trends and innovations to some detailed execution strategies, Adrien Boué from IT Consultis and Sylvain Joandel from Fabernovel will give a hands-on presentation, taking us through everything you need to know about these Chinese digital ecosystems. Next to the presentation, there will be time for questions and discussions.

Adrian Boue

With 9 years of experience in the digital industry, including at Apple in London and Salesforce in Paris, Adrien manages the growth of IT Consultis Singapore since this year. Having lived in China for many years, developing and executing sales strategies for IT Consultis, he is passionate about everything digital, e-commerce, and UX/UI for China and South East Asia.


Sylvain Joandel

General Manager, Asia

FABERNOVEL

 

Sylvain Joandel has over 9 years’ experience in digital marketing and consulting in China mainland and recently relocated to Singapore to expend FABERNOVEL footprint in Asia. He supports MNCs in their digital transformation with strategic advisory & digital leadership programs to engage with their teams & drive the culture change.

 

Previously as group director for China, he helped global companies in luxury, fashion, beauty and travel industries to setup their digital marketing operations on Chinese platforms. He was also lecturer for Condé Nast Fashion & Design Center for their digital program in Shanghai.

 

Sylvain started his career as internal consultant for the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and contributed to the organization of high scientific level summits during the World Expo 2010 in Shanghai. In 2012, he joined Reflex, a multinational digital creative agency, as CTO, to lead major digital projects for international companies and he was appointed Managing Director of Reflex Shanghai in 2014.
