Please join us for our first AmCham Women Taskforce Meeting. We are excited to kick-off this meeting to start making an impact to achieve the mission of AmCham Women. We are seeking AmCham members who are passionate about the AmCham Women mission and are able to commit a little bit of their time to help implement the identified (3) projects for 2018-2019.

AmCham Women is the Chamber’s primary platform dedicated to accelerating diversity & inclusion in the workplace. It was officially launched in April 2018, along with the Pioneers Signature Series launched earlier this month to promote and raise awareness around D&I issues.

We are now at an important phase of the AmCham Women movement and would like to call on AmCham members to join the taskforces below to drive the implementation of the following projects:

(1)  Gala Event: planned for early December, 2018 to feature and recognize champions (in particular male colleagues) of diversity & inclusion and their nominees. Led by Taskforce co-chairs Jasmine Karimi, Illumina and Connie Liu, Boeing.

(2)  Research & Publication: report to be released in 2019 that highlights best practices, evidence based research findings, and focus group survey. Led by Taskforce co-chairs Peta Latimer, KPMG, (Seeking co-chair), Denise Morris Kipnis, ChangeFlow Consulting.

(3)  Impact Assessment & Strategy: develop framework for how the Chamber will measure success and progress of AmCham Women initiatives. Led by Taskforce co-chairs Shakilla Shahjihan, Abbott and Natalie Marko, Citi, and Denise Morris Kipnis, ChangeFlow Consulting.

(4) Joint 2-day Course with Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, NUS: developing a 2-day course module to focus on middle-management and building the pipeline; target participants will be 50/50 high-potentials from the Singapore government and from AmCham member companies. *Currently seeking Taskforce co-chairs.

At the meeting, you can choose to join one of the three taskforces and map out next steps with other passionate AmCham members. If you have any questions regarding this event, please contact Hasnorimah, Corporate Events Manager at

As you know, all of our events are exclusive to AmCham members only, but if you have a colleague that would like to be a part of this movement who is not with a member company, please contact Ashley, Head of Business Development & Operations at
