Elizabeth Hernandez is executive director and chief operating officer of ShiftRunner, the Singapore-based creators of PANDOO Nation the online game world that empowers kids to change the world – literally!
Prior to joining ShiftRunner, Elizabeth spent the last 15 years leading multinational companies’ government affairs and public policy initiatives in Asia Pacific, most recently as Head of Public Policy for Asia Pacific at Facebook. Prior to Facebook, Elizabeth spent five years at Hewlett-Packard (HP) as vice president of corporate affairs for Asia Pacific, where she was responsible for managing the company’s reputation and building public-private partnerships with governments around the region. Before joining HP, Elizabeth was regional director of government and public affairs at GlaxoSmithKline (GSK).
In addition to her multinational experience, Elizabeth also has worked for the US-ASEAN Business Council, a non-profit trade association promoting US trade and investment in Southeast Asia, in both Singapore and Washington DC, where she started her career.
A former technology entrepreneur, Elizabeth also has experienced start-up life and co-founded I-Quest Corporation, an in-room broadband service provider for the hospitality industry, in Hong Kong in 1996, and served as the company’s vice president for sales and marketing, and later as its chief operating officer.
Elizabeth is Vice Chair and a member of the Board of Governors of the American Chamber of Commerce in Singapore, Chairman of the Board of Directors of HOPE International Development Agency, Singapore and Executive Director at ShiftRunner Pte Ltd.
A Filipino national, Elizabeth received a B.A. in History from the University of the Philippines, and studied International Affairs at the American University School of International Service in Washington, DC. She currently lives in Singapore with her husband and three children.
