Select Committee on International School Admissions in Singapore

The AmCham Board of Governors has created a Select Committee of the Board to focus on the changing dynamics of international school admissions. (link to press release)

With participation of AmCham Board members and additional key members from the AmCham committee, the Select Committee focuses on how AmCham can best serve its members and international schools by:

(1) Distributing information to members about educational options that businesses may consider when moving expat families to Singapore.

(2) Working closely with the boards of international schools in Singapore to inform them of the numbers of expatriates entering Singapore and the concerns of AmCham’s members, so that the schools can better determine future facility and expansion needs.

(3) Keeping the relevant Singapore government ministries and agencies apprised of the school waiting list situation to ascertain the number of new Americans and other expatriates coming into Singapore and the strategies which will be undertaken to ensure schools can be expanded.
