Avian Flu

Information and Resources

The threat of an avian flu pandemic is on the minds of many and is increasingly at the top of the agenda for many governments. And while governments are implementing pandemic preparedness plans and stockpiling antiviral medication, businesses also need to be prepared.

The business continuity implications are immense and proper contingency planning requires businesses to adopt a multi-disciplinary approach ranging from human resource issues, to logistics, and transportation.

Avian Flu Preparedness - AmCham Information Sharing to Boost Preparedness

To assist our members in their contingency and preparedness planning for such a pandemic, AmCham is asking all members to forward us a copy of their company's Avian Flu Preparedness Plan.

If you are interested in preparedness planning for avian influenza and wish to participate in this information sharing exercise, please send a copy of your plan to Greg Fergin at gfergin@amcham.org.sg or 6235 9977 ext 28.

AmCham Avian Flu Business Briefings

AmCham has conducted a number of special briefings for our members on avian flu and preparedness planning for business continuity. Information on these briefings can be found below.
