AmCham CARES honors AmCham member organizations from a variety of business sectors and industries for demonstrating excellent understanding of the linkages between business operations and society. In 2018, 52 companies were recognized and honored at the AmCham 45th Annual General Meeting on April 19, 2018. The award was presented by U.S. Embassy Charge d’Affaires Stephanie Syptak-Ramnath.
AmCham CARES is not a competition. It requires companies to meet certain criteria with their corporate programs. AmCham CARES is a great way to benchmark, share best practices, and look at ways to improve companies’ current CSR programs.
- Raises awareness of CSR and corporate citizenship among AmCham members;
- Recognizes firms with best practice programs;
- Gathers information about best practices to share with all AmCham members; and
- Demonstrates continued AmCham leadership among chambers in Singapore.
