Minister for Social and Family Development Tan Chuan-Jin and U.S. Embassy Singapore Chargé d’Affaires Stephanie Syptak-Ramnath congratulating 42 companies at the AmCham CARES 2017 ceremony

AmCham CARES honors AmCham member organizations from a variety of business sectors and industries for demonstrating excellent understanding of the linkages between business operations and society. The recognition were given to 42 companies and presented by Minister for Social and Family Development Tan Chuan-Jin, and U.S. Embassy Charge d’Affaires Stephanie Syptak-Ramnath, at the AmCham 44th Annual General Meeting on April 27, 2017.

AmCham CARES is not a competition. It requires companies to meet certain criteria with their corporate programs. AmCham CARES is a great way to benchmark, share best practices, and look at ways to improve companies’ current CSR programs.

AmCham CARES:

  • Raises awareness of CSR and corporate citizenship among AmCham members;
  • Recognizes firms with best practice programs;
  • Gathers information about best practices to share with all AmCham members; and
  • Demonstrates continued AmCham leadership among chambers in Singapore.
