We are thrilled that Assistant Secretary Redl will be able to make the time for a closed-door session with AmCham members during his short visit to Singapore from Washington, DC.
Please join us for an interactive dialogue session with Assistant Secretary Redl to discuss the economic and technological landscape of US companies in the telecommunications industry. This is a fantastic opportunity to hear directly from the Assistant Secretary on the priorities of the Trump administration on the policies and regulations that impact the telecommunications industry, as well as sharing with him on the opportunities and challenges of US companies operating here in Singapore and the region.
More specifically, Assistant Secretary Redl is seeking to speak with Amcham member companies offering digital services and technology goods in the region about how they compete in ASEAN, and what issues the U.S. could help address through NTIA's role as the President's chief advisor on communications and information policy. NTIA joins delegations to multilateral institutions, and is present in most bilateral dialogues on digital issues run by the State Department. Insights from the business community in the region would help tremendously to inform the U.S.'s strategy for the region. He will also share some of NTIA's current international priorities, especially on the ITU and ICANN fronts.
We look forward to seeing you at this important closed-door dialogue session.
