Description

Lunch will be provided.

Research shows that it is difficult to derive value from acquisitions and two-thirds of acquisitions fail to generate shareholder value.

At EY, we have been able to share our experience with our clients to maximize the value from their acquisitions. Through a lunchtime talk, we can share our experience of practical steps to take as firms set-up for M&A and merger integration. The lunchtime talk will focus on:

  1. Thoughts on value generation and pitfalls in M&A: M&A trends, case studies / examples of who were the winners / losers in M&A and why
  2. EY Merger Integration Approach and strategy: EY has a tried and tested typical integration approach which has been successfully implemented in client integrations
  3. EY Experience: Share EY’s experience and war stories in merger integration through client examples and case studies
