Synopsis

Sleep and Its Connection with Mental Health, and Other Health Conditions

Did you know lack of sleep can lead to a number of pathologies including but not limited to diabetes, elevated LDL cholesterol, weight gain, and impaired brain function?

With sleep apnea being a multi-billion-dollar industry where over 10% of the population has it and is unaware, what will be the future of sleep detection? Are we focusing enough on mental health today and how can we address it better?

Join us for this engaging discussion with Nawal Roy, Nawal Roy, Chief Executive Officer of Holmusk, and Michael Chee, Professor and Director of the Centre for Cognitive Neuroscience, Duke-NUS Medical School to discuss with us on the importance of sleep and its correlation with mental health, and other health-related issues.
