In conjunction with the 50th anniversary of ASEAN and 40 years of the U.S.-ASEAN Dialogue Partnership, AmCham is proud to host the ASEAN Business Outlook Survey (ABOS): U.S. Business Perspectives in Southeast Asia event on Tuesday, September 12, 2017.
This year’s special commemorative edition of ABOS is an expanded in-depth survey of U.S. business operations in the region that explores and explains executives’ views of the region’s opportunities and challenges. Celebrating its 16th year, ABOS is an invaluable guide for American and foreign executives, government thought leaders, academia, and non-government organizations across ASEAN to consider the insights and perspectives of senior executives from U.S. companies in all ten ASEAN countries.
Senior leaders from both the private and government sectors participating in this session will also cover survey highlights. Our distinguished guest of honor and keynote speaker, the Honorable Lim Hng Kiang from Ministry of Trade and Industry (Trade) will share his views on Singapore's long-standing trade and investment relations with the U.S. and its future direction. Other special guest panelists will discuss and take a closer look at some of the underlying reasons behind the 2018 ABOS results.
