In a world of big data, traditional business analytics quickly reach their limits: Data is plentifully available, but converting stale data lakes into rivers of insight and action often prove to be difficult and inefficient. Often, analytically "optimal" solutions fail the reality check because some framing conditions emerge that were not anticipated or could not be modeled with a computer.
Geographic Analytics can help overcoming these issues. It significantly shortens the time-to-insight by shifting analytics from data sets and formulas to geographic visuals. In live analytics case studies Dr. Acksteiner, a recognized expert on this topic, shows how to make Geographic Analytics work in Supply Chain Management.
