Description

Singapore’s economy has slowed and businesses are expecting a tough 2017. The Committee on the Future Economy will release its report shortly. The report is expected to address the impact of technological disruptions and the rapidly changing global environment on companies and workers. It is likely that Budget 2017 will address the above issues, with help being provided to both businesses and the workforce.

Join AmCham for a lunch briefing with Shanker Iyer, Founder and Chairman of Iyer Practice Advisers, and Alvin Liew, Senior Economist of United Overseas Bank, to discuss the outlook for the Singapore and regional economies and take a close look at the Government of Singapore's policy responses and specific tax and other changes introduced in the 2017 budget.
