About the Panelists:

Chris joined Blippar as Regional Business Director in Oct 2015 to drive their launch into APAC. Blippar is the world’s largest, and fastest growing visual discovery browser with over 17 million users globally; sitting at the bleeding edge of Artificial Intelligence engineering and Augmented Reality content experiences. Blippar bridges the physical and digital worlds by automatically recognizing everyday objects and overlaying contextual information and experiences on top of the real-world. These experiences offer brands new ways to connect and influence their consumers on mobile devices across the whole purchase funnel.
Sandhya manages the Ecommerce, Travel and Financial Services Verticals at Facebook for South East Asia. Prior to joining Facebook, Sandhya was a Managing Director at Standard Chartered Bank, managing their half-a-billion dollar revenue retail banking and payments business in Singapore. Sandhya started her career at Citi as a Management Associate in India and was a founder-member of their innovative digital business team. In her 15 year international career across Citi and Standard Chartered, Sandhya has managed multiple businesses and spearheaded innovation in consumer banking and payments.

Yaw leads market expansion and business development in the Asia-Pacific region for Twilio, the pioneer in cloud communications. Twilio has more than 700,000 businesses and developers building on the platform today and works with customers like Uber, Box, Salesforce, Square, eBay, Zendesk, Walmart and Sony. Yaw’s mission is to bring Twilio to the APAC region so that software people here can build awesome applications and services on the Twilio platform without having to worry about carrier connectivity and esoteric protocols.
Prior to joining Twilio, Yaw was a Director at Infocomm Investments and responsible for all of Infocomm’s US investment activities. Infocomm Investments is a growth expansion stage fund and the venture arm of Singapore’s Infocomm Development Authority (IDA). Yaw launched the US office and oversaw Infocomm Investments’ operations in the US from 2011 to 2014. He also advised tech startups in Silicon Valley on Asia expansion.
Yaw graduated with a B.Sc in Computer Science from Cornell University after three snowy years of winter in Upstate New York. He then spent a year to defrost in sunny California and received his Master degree in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford University.

Eli manages Corporate Innovation at Impact Hub Singapore, bridging corporates with startups, entrepreneurs, and techies to reach innovation goals. He was previously a Consultant for The Futures Company in both North America and Asia-Pacific helping corporate clients understand, anticipate, and shape change. He started his career in advertising, working in account management and new business for Ogilvy in both the U.S. and China before moving into strategy and innovation - first with AlphaSights, then The Futures Company, and now at Impact Hub.
He has a specific passion for social innovation, constantly exploring the intersection between emerging trends and environmental, social, and economic impact. He is a social entrepreneur himself, and in 2014 he helped kickstart Dogly, a mobile app that gamifies rescue dog support, which has attracted over 30,000 users across the U.S. Most recently, he co-founded Own Your Brilliance, working with university students to develop innovative commercial solutions to global challenges.
