To provide practical insight into the management of the yin and yang of improvement and innovation, this session will introduce the concept of managing the S-curve for your products, processes, and business models as well as the concept of "creative destruction," popularized by the Austrian economist Joseph Schumpeter. Speaker Mark Back will illustrate the framework with some failed examples as well as successful examples at the corporate level.
