Allison McDougall has dedicated her 20 year career to the global content lifecycle, and considers herself a true global content anthropologist. She is currently Vice President of Emerging Business at Lionbridge, where she manages a $50 million client portfolio across North America and Asia working with some of the world’s top brands, including Lenovo, Intel, HTC, and Alibaba. Allison’s personal areas of focus include global business and customer engagement through creative content marketing.
Allison has spoken at events organized by the Translation Association of China (TAC), LocWorld, Globalization and Localization Association, Slator, Translators Without Borders, Information Development World, and Women in Localization, where she is a member of the Board of Directors. Allison is a strong advocate of higher education involving international language. She maintains close affiliations with the University of Illinois Global Languages program, where she earned a BA in French, and Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey, where she earned an MBA with a concentration in international Marketing.
