Communications department and subsequently established the company’s
CSR/Sustainability portfolio. A pioneer
CSR practitioner for over 20 years and a committee member of the Global Compact
Network Singapore, which is the local network of UN Global Compact, she is
instrumental in building up the company’s leadership in Sustainability.
CDL is the first
Singapore company to be included on 3 leading global sustainability listings,
namely the FTSE4Good Index Series since 2002, the Global 100 Most Sustainable
Corporations in the World since 2010 and Dow Jones Sustainability Indexes since
2011. In the 2016 Global100 Listing, CDL is ranked 10th overall
and top amongst real estate companies globally. The company has also been ranked top Asian
developer in the Channel NewsAsia Sustainability Ranking for two consecutive years
since 2014. It was also conferred the
Business Leadership in Sustainability Award by the World Green Building Council
and the top honours for the Sustainable Business Awards by Singapore Business
Federation, amongst many other accolades.
The first Singapore-listed company to publish a GRI-checked
Sustainability Report in 2008, CDL has adopted the Integrated Reporting

Matt Harris is the Chief Executive, AIG Asia Pacific Insurance Pte. Ltd. and Head of Country Operations, Southeast Asia since 23 December 2014. He covers Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam and Philippines, including Guam and Micronesia. Matt was the Chief Executive Officer of AIG Malaysia (since August 2010) and AIG New Zealand (from December 2008). He was also a member of AIG’s Regional Audit and Investment Committees and a Board Member of the Insurance Council of New Zealand.
Before this, Matt was the Chief Representative for the Insurance Australia Group (IAG), during which he secured the State Bank of India as IAG’s joint venture partner. AIG has been a member of The American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) since 1974. Zach Wilson, MD of Alfa Tech VestAsia Pte Ltd, has over 12 years of experience in engineering, construction and real estate development. He specializes in Clean Technology, renewable energy, energy efficiency and hi-tech projects. Zach has developed over 2 million square feet of mixed-use real estate projects in San Francisco prior to setting up the Alfa Tech VestAsia in 2010.
Zach is a LEED Accredited Professional, a member of CoreNet Global and the Urban Land Institute (ULI). He has an MS in Civil and Environmental Engineering (2005) from Stanford University and a B.S. in Construction Engineering Technology (2003) from Montana State University.

William Henry Clune is a consultant, lawyer,
and entrepreneur whose work focuses on sustainable economic development and
environmental protection. With projects and research related to global and
corporate governance, regulatory and legal frameworks, addressing the
challenges and opportunities of urban development, and empowering individuals
and communities, he has worked with corporations, governments, universities,
and third sector clients. William is the Managing Director of SEDC, an impact
consultancy based in Stockholm, Sweden, that develops and supports
collaborative projects promoting sustainable economic development. At NTU in
Singapore, William is a Faculty Associate in the Asian School of the
Environment and the Policy Director at the Sustainable Earth Office.
