Ian McKee

Entrepreneur with 17 years’ experience building businesses in Asia, and prior to that in the UK.

Ian founded Vocanic in 2006 and led the business to become the largest, regional, full service social media marketing firm in Asia with offices in Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore and Jakarta.

In 2013 WPP acquired a majority holding in Vocanic, today Vocanic is part of the GroupM network.

Prior to being CEO at Vocanic, Ian was COO of an Incubator that brought businesses to Asia, MD of a Business Analytics business, did Balanced Business Scorecard consulting, was an evangelist in Artificial Intelligence for Sun Microsystems and worked with IRI Software (then acquired by Oracle) one of the very first “Big Data” businesses.

He has called Singapore home for 17 years and has 2 kids – for fun, when he has time, he enjoys photography and scuba-diving.
