Leading Change in the Employee Healthcare System: Tech Startup That Will Take the HR
Industry by Storm
Join us as Rosaline Chow Koo, Founder and CEO of ConneXionsAsia (CXA), Asia’s first private workplace exchange shares how to transform a firm’s current healthcare spend into a benefits and wellness program that empowers employees to become healthier. Some of the solutions include leveraging insurance spend to combat worsening workforce health, increasing employee participation in workplace wellness programs, and finally, obtaining HR analytics to tailor prevention programs to your employee population.
About the Speaker:
Founder and Chief Executive Officer
Rosaline has led start-ups and corporate turnarounds for 25 years in Asia and the US spanning healthcare, employee benefits, BPO, internet, banking & consumer goods.
After graduating with a UCLA Cybernetics degree and an MBA from Columbia Business School, Rosaline supervised P&G factory lines in Iowa before working in 8 different roles during her 8 years at Bankers Trust (now Deutsche Bank) in New York. Rosaline launched two dot-com start-ups in Asia and then moved to her client ACE Insurance to lead alternative distribution. She also grew Mercer Marsh Benefits' 14 countries across APAC 800% over 8 years.
Frustrated by the slow adoption of technology in a paper-based industry ripe for transformation, Rosaline invested $5M of her own money to build Asia's first insurance & wellness marketplace. Within 12 months, her team built the platform, acquired Singapore's largest home-grown employee benefits broker, won 20 Fortune 500 clients away from the global incumbents and was voted by HR as one of the best vendors of the year for benefits.
CXA's vision is to unlock wellness in the workplace without firms spending more, by redirecting existing insurance and healthcare dollars into prevention and disease management. CXA empowers employees to become healthier and reduces HR's administrative workload while controlling rising healthcare costs.
Rosaline is a frequent speaker on Innovation, Leadership and Diversity.
