“Executive Coaching: Does it make a difference?”
Speaker: Hermann Ditzig, Founder and Managing Director, LeAD
Consulting Group
Date: Wednesday, August 6th, 2008
Executive Coaching is a new profession experiencing exponential
growth. A majority of the Fortune 500 CEO’s have had coaches helping
them be more effective. More companies are using Executive Coaches
for leadership development. However there is only limited research
on the efficacy of executive coaching. The cost for these services
usually exceeds US$15,000 for about 24 hours of coaching. Given the
expense we should be concerned whether executive coaching really
works. Equally important is the question of what can we do to
improve the success of coaching. Do different types of clients
require different coaching approaches?
