The Legal Affairs and IPR Committee initiated our first Balestier Series event of 2016. On January 13, Singapore Chief Justice Sundaresh Menon described Singapore’s remarkable efforts to develop into a judicial hub that serves to encourage investment and commerce throughout the region. Hosted in the Supreme Court of Singapore, this session illuminated the full spectrum of dispute resolution options available here, including the newly inaugurated Singapore International Commercial Court.

With Singapore quickly becoming a world leader in Alternative Dispute Resolution, the committee hosted a panel presentation by leading ADR experts to share services and resources available to individuals and companies.
