Our Services - How We Can Help You

We Help you: Represent your interests to Government

AmCham represents our members at the highest levels of government in Singapore and Washington. We played a significant role in development of the U.S.-Singapore Free Trade Agreement and meet regularly with senior members of the Singapore Government to represent the interests of our members.

Our advocacy achieves results for our members.

  • Meetings with the American government officials and global leaders
AmCham members have the opportunity to interact with visiting Congressional leaders. Committees meet regularly with U.S. Embassy and other U.S. Government Representatives.

  • Washington delegations
Senior business executives represent AmCham members' interests in meetings with Congressmen and staff advisers in Washington.

  • Singapore representation
AmCham members meet with senior members of the Singapore Government to discuss issues of relevance to American business in Singapore.

  • Business missions
AmCham regularly organizes business missions to countries in the region. These business missions offer our members a first-hand understanding of where opportunities lie. Meetings with high-level government officials and business leaders give valuable insight into business opportunities and government economic and investment policies.

In addition to personalized discussions with Chamber's Executive Director, AmCham can also organize  small roundtables or breakfast meetings with small groups of members who have interests in a particular sector or industry, including informal briefings by the Chamber's 15 industry committees.

  • Educational forums
Committees regularly hold educational series on a broad array of subjects. Recent series have ranged from branding to business positioning, e-Business and wireless communications,  manpower issues, political risk concerns and venture capital trends.

  • E-brief and E-mails
The Executive Office distributes a weekly e-newsletter, AmCham E-brief, and ad hoc emails to all members, providing the latest AmCham news and events, business alerts, Global Leaders Series programs and upcoming meetings and seminars.
We help You: Stay Connected (Networking)

Networking nights, cocktail receptions and information events keep you connected. With an average of 10 to 15 events and meetings per month, the opportunities for expanding your network are vast, providing even the busiest executives a chance to participate.
