Frequently Asked Questions

1. What are our hours of operation?
We are open from Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

2. Where are we located?
We are located at 1 Scotts Road, #23-03/04 Shaw Centre Singapore 228208

3. Which public holidays do we observe?
AmCham is closed on all Singapore public holidays and we are open for half a day on Thanksgiving, Chinese New Year's Eve and Hari Raya's Eve. For a list of the public holidays that we observe click here. Also, nearing Christmas, please check the website  for our holiday break schedule.

4. What information can non-members obtain without cost?
We have a small library of membership directories from American Chambers across the region. If you are looking for information on trade opportunities, please call the U.S. Embassy in Singapore. Neither AmCham nor the U.S. Embassy maintain an employment service.

5. What information can non-members purchase?
You can purchase a number of publications from AmCham. For a detailed list of publications for sale, please refer to the publications section.

6. Can a non-US or Singaporean firm join AmCham?
Our organization is open to companies and individuals of all nationalities. We do not cater only to American companies or individuals. In fact, over 40% of our members are non-American, and Singaporeans account for about 25%. The diversity of our organization is reflected in the diversity of our members.
