What are AmCham Committees?
Committees are exclusive to AmCham members only, and provide participants an exclusive platform to network with leaders and peers in the industry, discuss current industry issues, share business insights, speak at meetings and gain exposure. The AmCham Committees are a great way for members to become engaged with the Chamber. For a list of AmCham Committees, click here.

How do I get involved with the Committees?
When you fill out your AmCham membership form, simply indicate which Committees you are interested in, and you will be included on the mailing list for the Committees selected. You will receive monthly invitations to Committee Meetings with a link to register as well as AmCham's e-newsletter, The Networker twice a week, with details on events and committee meetings.

What are AmCham Committee Meetings?
Committee meetings are held once a month with a featured speaker and a topic. The breakfast meetings are free for members, and lunches are S$10.70 (inclusive of GST) for members. Non-members are charged S$107.00. For a list of Upcoming Committee Meetings, click here.

What is the structure of a Committee Meeting?
There is about 15 minutes for networking as the members arrive. The Committee Co-Chair will welcome the guests and speaker, and ask each attendee to introduce themselves. The speaker will present for about 20 to 30 minutes, leaving 20 minutes for Q&A discussions. At the end of the meeting, the Committee Co-Chair and members will discuss possible topics and speakers for upcoming meetings.

Who leads the Committees?
Each committee is led by Committee Co-Chairs. The Chairs provide direction by coming up with committee business plans in the beginning of the year, suggest and liaise with potential speakers, and moderate committee meetings. The Executive team provides support in organizing and running the logistics for the Committee activities.

What is the difference between a Committee Meeting and an event?
Committee meetings are for members only, while events are open to all. Topics covered in committees are current and focused topics targeted for professionals in the industry. Committee members are encouraged to suggest topics and speakers of interest to them.
