Maximize Your Membership

An AmCham membership helps your company gain exposure in the business community. Here's how to make the most of it.

1) Nominate the maximum number of employees for your company

Stretch your membership dollar by employing the maximum number of employees for your company so they can enjoy all the benefits of your membership. 2) Stay informed with valuable business insights

Look to us for access to front-line information on Singapore and the region’s business environment and for best practices in the industry. From market-entry strategies for newcomers to seasoned advice from experts, we provide a unique platform for companies and their senior executives who want to learn more about various local and regional business issues. Learn about the business environment from our e-newsletter, and print publications ASEAN Business Outlook Report and Doing Business in Singapore: The Gateway to Southeast Asia.


3) Network with your peers at Committee Meetings

Members have access to 13 committees divided by industry and function, ranging from Aerospace to Financial Services, Manufacturing to Government and Regional Affairs. Committee meetings are exclusive to AmCham members only, and provide participants an exclusive platform to network with leaders and peers in the industry, discuss current industry issues, share business insights, speak at meetings and gain exposure. Committee breakfast and afternoon meetings are free for members, and a great way to become engaged with the chamber.



4) Learn insights from global leaders

Meet potential clients, rub shoulders with global leaders, discuss business issues with leading government officials, and interact with key industry leaders, professionals, business partners by participating in our full range of business and social activities.
Expand your network by attending over 160 events a year, ranging from company-tailored breakfast briefings to Global Leaders Series events, casual networking sessions to government events.  

 

 


5) Refer to the  Membership Directory for business contacts

The annual directory offers a comprehensive listing of AmCham Singapore’s member companies, as well as industry listings and other business resource listings.  65% of members refer to the directory for business contacts.  The directory is distributed annually to all AmCham members in Singapore, other AmChams in the region and to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.

6) Strengthen government relations

AmCham opens doors for companies new to the market, making it their best launch pad in Singapore and Asia. AmCham also advocates on behalf of companies when there are concerns on regulatory issues with governments.  Meet top government representatives from the U.S., Singapore and across the region including Ministers, Ambassadors, Congressional leaders, and many other influential government officials at AmCham events.

7) Take part in the annual Washington Doorknock and business missions

Meet members of Congress and the Executive Branch of the U.S. government when you take part in the annual Doorknock visit to Washington DC.  Represent your company by sharing insights on how the U.S. government can support U.S. businesses operating in Asia and improve the world economy.

8) Gain exposure for your company
Reach out to the decision-makers through our branding, sponsorship and advertising opportunities. Raise your profile among the expanding business community and increase exposure for your company. Member companies also receive a 50% discount on advertisements for our e-newsletter.

Gain publicity and exposure for your company when you speak at our events. Journalists frequently attend our events to learn about business issues and to interview business leaders. Let us know your expertise and we would be happy to discuss profiling your company in an event and give your company a platform to reach the media.

9) Promote your products and services with the Small Business Directory and our Membership Exclusive program

Our Small Business Directory provides our SME members with a listing of specific products and services fellow member companies are offering which can help build and improve their businesses. This is distributed free-of-charge.

Promote your business and provide AmCham members through the AmCham Exclusive Program by offering members special rates and discounts when they show their AmCham membership card.

10) Give back through our Corporate Social Responsibility program

Give back to the community by taking part in Corporate Community Day (CCD), organized by AmCham for its members every year. CCD is an AmCham initiative in which the Chamber's member companies undertake volunteer events for local beneficiaries throughout Singapore on the same day. Employees of participating companies do volunteering work with a local charity to help fellow Singaporeans in need.

11) Get connected on our Social Media platforms

Connect with us and members on social media platforms. Watch our videos on our YouTube channel to learn the latest trends and insights, see our pictures on Facebook, follow us on Twitter, and connect and engage with fellow AmCham members on our LinkedIn group.

12) Rent our rooms for your functions
