About the Committee Committee Chairs
Mission: The Committee’s purpose is to enhance U.S. aerospace and defense business in Singapore by improving government-to-industry relationships, increasing understanding of U.S. and Singapore aerospace and defense priorities and regulations, and increasing the U.S. defense industry’s ability to compete for Singapore business.

Industry Brief: Aerospace is one of the fastest growing industries and Singapore is well positioned to expand its market share in business aviation, regional training and asset management in coming years. Singapore is widely recognized as one of the premier commercial and commuter air hubs in the world and will continue to encourage investment as a key asset both for innovation and growth in numerous industries, particularly aerospace and supply-chain management.

Singapore is also the regional leader in Aerospace MRO and a hub for manufacturing, research, and development in the defense industry. Singapore possesses a full range of capabilities that include airframe maintenance, engine overhaul, component repair, structural and avionics system repair, and aircraft modifications and conersions.





Meetings
: The Committee holds a meeting and invites a speaker to discuss issues of concern to members on a monthly basis.
